We renovated the hotel from the ground up, gave each room its own soul, and created a bridge between tradition and new beginnings with handcrafted furniture made from old dhow boats.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"1103\" data-end=\"1541\">But a place is not only made of walls and furniture. It lives from the people who fill it with heart. That\u2019s why it was important to us from the very beginning to build a harmonious team of local staff \u2013 from housekeeping to the head chef.
